PURE ACAI BERRY vs ACAI EXTRACT

Acai berries are one of the most potent antioxidant super foods on the planet. High concentrations of antioxidants, including Anthocyanins, protect against free radical damage to the cells, and are linked with slowing down the aging process and increasing longevity. The natural supplement market has been flooded with Acai Berry products, however not all Acai Berry products are the same, some providing far less nutritional value than others. Many products contain high percentages of fillers or are watered-down, and many juices contain sugar.

Acai Bery Processing Methods

The process which is used to produce an Acai Berry supplement is also extremely important. The best process is freeze drying the acai berry thus retaining a higher nutritional value than other methods. This is because as the water content is removed, a rich pulp is made which has a higher nutrient concentration than the raw fruit itself. Other supplements such as Extracts are made using Spray Dried Fruit. This process is cheaper but it involves heating the acai to high temperatures to evaporate the water content, before spraying the left over residue with a food additive. Unfortunately this cheaper process loses much of the nutritional value of the fruit.

Acai Berry Extract?

Beware products that are from Extract or "Concentrate". As an example a capsule with 500mg of extract, if the extract is in the ratio 10:1 contains only 50mg acai berry. So Extract = LESS.

Pure Acai

Pure Acai contains no additives, no fillers, no flowing agents, only Organic Freeze Dried Pure Acai Berries. Each vegetarian capsule contains a FULL 500mg of Pure
